Most savvy entrepreneurs understand this - but not everyone has truly mastered the art of building a community around their business. It, of course, starts with networking. But, networking is not just about collecting business cards. Networking guru Jennifer Kushell, President & CEO of Young & Successful Media Network, often urges people to think about networking as a business function - just like finance or marketing. Networking needs to be strategic and focused. It is about finding the right person with the right resource - whether that be another Meetup member, a customer, a restaurant owner in your neighborhood, or the President of your industry association - who can help you achieve your business goals.
