BankRI Small Business Banking Series

To educate and assist local small businesses, and to increase knowledge and consideration of BankRI among small business owners.

Join BankRI and the RI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for a free educational seminar on May 12 at the BankRI Pawtucket branch.

? The May 12 event will be co-hosted by BankRI and the RI Small Business Development Center, based at Johnson & Wales University. The seminar will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the BankRI Pawtucket branch.
? The seminar is free for all attendees and is designed for existing business owners.
? The goal of the seminar is to educate small business owners about the resources available to them in our state:
o Sixcia Devine, SBDC Providence regional director, will discuss SBDC tools and resources. These include training sessions, workshops, and opportunities for business mentoring and consultation.
o Don DiBlasi and George Couto from BankRI will discuss small business financing, SBA loans and loan packaging.
o Each attendee will have the chance to enter the evening?s raffle, and one winner will receive full tuition to the SBDC Business Planning Seminar of their choice.
? Light refreshments will be provided.

? The goal audience is 10-15 business owners. Due to space restrictions, it is important that interested parties RSVP to 456-5015 (x1542). If we have a strong response, we can add additional sessions.
