This is the first meeting after the transition to a new group lead. In general, I'd like to have meetings where we have a significant amount of networking and learn from a expert in the field (preferably an author). The first meeting coincides with an existing book signing, hence the location in Redwood City. I'm still looking for a location in Cupertino, please let me know if you have any suggestions.

For the meeting on Tuesday, October 9th, Kimberly Wiefling, author of the book 'Scrappy Project Management' is having a book signing party. Here are the details.

It was great. Kimberly Wiefling was a great host and certainly made everyone feel welcome. The line to have her sign her book was out the door.
